Hi There,

Do you pay for your consultant privately ? If you do, then change your consultant Immediately.

If you have no choice I would start demanding the second opinion, eight months too long.

I hope it works out for you.

Thank you Trish..no NHS...seeing 2nd opinion on 7th March...hoping I will be treated better. GP appalled that he wrote scan ok before it was performed...consultant radiologist stated she found mass and forwarded me results

Don't leave with out a copy of your file for your own notes. You are entitled to know what on the reports. Get your GP to back you up more as well. My GP is like a terrier having a good GP makes a real difference.

Keeep in touch and let us know what happens.

I'll be thinking of you.

xx

Thank you Trish...no NHS

Hi Max, I would also change consultant taking your notes with you. I am not saying he is wrong but definitely when fighting this battle you need a kind and efficient doctor. Good luck with your next appointment will be thinking of you

Change consultant. Where are you? Is there a forum there where you can ask for advice on who is best to be referred to?
