Ovacome is joining with The Eve Appeal, Ovarian Cancer Action and Target Ovarian Cancer to hold a research meeting and discussion session around the results of the United Kingdom Collaborative Trial of Ovarian Cancer Screening (UKCTOCS).
The UKCTOCS trial, is one of the largest trials ever performed, involving 202,638 women, and designed to determine how many lives could be saved be screening for ovarian cancer. The trial was funded by Medical Research Council, Cancer Research UK, the National Institute of Health Research and the Eve Appeal.
We would like to share the final analysis and results with the many women who took part in the research trial, and women affected by ovarian cancer, their friends and families.
