Lean on me: Was just listening to a song called... - My Ovacome
Lean on me
I know the song, I was joined a choir and we learned it. We sang it at a concert last year. Very apt for our family on here as you say. We all need somebody to lean off, call me if you need a friend, call me, call me!

Thanks so much Gwyn for bringing back memories of a lovely time in the Choir with the most fantastic Director ever. This is a song that touches us all,
Very true, we all need somebody to lean on from time to time and on this forum we are a great support to one another. Ann x
One of my favourite songs and very true for all of us on here! Xx
Thank you .. This song made my day! Xxx
Yes thanks it is a lovely song and reminds us we are not alone in this even though it might feel that way sometimes. Xx
i found some songs really helped during my first (worst) chemo and op. Everybody Cries by REM helped - it sounds as though it would be depressing but there's a line that comes in underneath that says 'hang on, hang on' that felt so much as though it was what I had to do that I found it really supportive. I had Runrig too, to remind me of holidays in Scotland, the Loch Lomond song and Road Trip. Now I'm into Vampire Weekend, especially 'Unbelievers' though I'm not quite sure what it's all about, but if my partner and daughters see my slapping my thighs 3 times in a row they know whats on my ipod.
