Yes the first time round just loved the bald look never wore a wig or hats,but I am taking my grandchildren all 5 of them on holiday for week in august,so just wanted to keep my hair until I got back,but I don't do cold,so bald it will be,thankyou for all posts might get a flowery swimming hat if only to make the kids laugh xxxx

Hi. do you know that all children think their grandparents are wonderful....some being bald, ie. grand-dads. So if your hubby/partner is around - you can always say that as you love him or her so much..you wanted a new look!!! but the flowery swimming cap sounds so much better.

Enjoy the holiday regardless.. do the waterslides, scream and shout as you hit the water,eat ice-cream for breakfast and lunch and dinner if the grandchildren think that is a good idea, etc etc etc.

Yes enjoy your holiday, you can actually get some nice sun hats too if you so wish. But I wish you a lovely holiday full of memories to cherish for both you and your grandchildren. Do as Daisies says and do all the scary rides and water slides. I am such a coward anyhow enjoy and f... the C word, lock it up in a box

Go bald and walk tall, I hated the wigand hats etc weren't much better. I have one grandchild with a wig phobia so couldn't wear it when he was around and the youngesr one at first cried because I had no hair. I used to make them laugh by telling them they had an alien for a grandma as they took my belly button away during my op lol.Have a fantastic holiday, Marilyn

Like you I've gone bald and proud twice in fact loads of people have said it suits me but when complete strangers tell you you look good it must be true as friends and family do tend to be biased 😜

Got my hair growing back now and it's come back completely silver grey 😜 so I just go with it one positive with being bald it's easy maintenance!!
