I am getting violent stomach pains and nausea lasting all night. They are sporadic. The last one was five days ago when my husband called the paramedics by which time the pain had eased,I also have violent gas and heartburn. What to do ? I am quite frightened.

I really think you should visit your GP as soon as possible to see if further tests are needed. X

I agree with TinaB. Either get appointment with oncologist/CNS or your GP.

I had debulking and afterwards had very violent stomach pains and was discovered I had an infection. Given strong anti-biotics and after 5 days all was well.

Don't be in pain - ask for help. A simple blood or urine test could solve the mystery.

Good luck and take care, Irene xxxxx

I was feeling fantastic for 8 months following chemo and surgery until one night I started vomiting and couldn't stop. I ended up in hospital for 4 weeks and had by pass surgery for a bowel blockage. Still feeling the effects of that one.

Do get it checked out.

Maureen

I think for safety sake get on to your gp and get referred to your gynae onc and request ct scan. Surely they are doing follow up check ups on you after the chemo and getting your ca125 done regularly. As this seem to be recurring I would get it sorted as soon as possible, it may be nothing just after effects of debulking/ I did have a lot of pain after debulking and my gp said it was normal as your tummy is actually empty and your intestines have more room to breathe.
