My op tomorrow !!!!

Hi all , just wanted to say thank you for all your good wishes and support for me tomorrow . My op is at 8.50am in the morning I have to be there for 7.30am I am first down . Amazingly I am really calm and not worried at all about it all now. I think I will be glad to get it over with and be able to get on with the recovery. I will let you all know how I got on and if I have any news . Thank you once again for your kind support love and soft hugs to you all lena XXXXXXXXX :))

Good luck! You will be so much better off when you are on the recovery side of surgery, and hopefully the findings will be good, and any concerning material will be effectively removed.

I remember I had the same timing, and was a bit wobbly when I found that I was the only 'job' on my Surgeon's list because it's a long op and they leave time to be thorough and give themselves the very best chance of getting everything possibly implicated removed. I was so lucky in that they do seem to have succeeded with me. So; don't worry if your scheduled for a long time - it's a good thing!!!

Good luck with it! I felt just the same at that stage......just wanted to get on with it and get all the nasties out. I was first down and had a long op, but ......so far so good.......my surgeon did a brill job of getting everything out. In his own inimitable words he said 'I had a jolly good old rummage around and I think we got it all'. I'm sure yours will go well too. Just remember to take on board all the advice about taking things easy afterwards.
