It's been lovely to see the various pet related blogs recently. I just thought I would join in the fun with this picture of Angie hard at work. Our dog grooming business, mutts'n'mongrels, has an enviable reputation for putting the pets first and this illustrates that philosophy in action. Buster is a large Akita who really doesn't normally enjoy bath time, but Angie has a unique way of making it fun for him...if you can't beat 'em join 'em!

This is great wow! some undertaking washing a large dog like Buster... My neighbour had two Akita's...the first one was really great and had a good relationship with their cat so when the dog died the cat pined so much it wouldn't eat and got very ill ..(they then had to have the poor cat put down)...the second Akita was completely different the dog took the poor old man for a walk instead of the other way around.. we often had a giggle watching Eric sitting on a wall trying to catch his breath..when he died his wife couldn't cope with the dog so had to let it go to a good home....thank you for sharing "Buster's bath experience" teehee
it brought a smile to my face love x G x
What a beautiful dog. Akitas are quite popular here in Singapore. They always look quite fierce and when we walk past houses that have them our beagle looks quite glad to be on the other side of the fence (litte wimp that he is)

That is one fab photo. We have a 10mth White Westie. She is gorgeous but can't keep her clean. She HATES the bath. We have tried everything from the kitchen sink to the shower to a very deep bath. Nothing works, she cries and tries to climb out of where ever she is. It can take a lot out of us.....yes it takes 2 adults to bath her. She looks lovely and so cute when she is clean and groomed but it doesn't last long.
We have resorted to a mobile groomer who happens to be a friend. Amy copes better than we do but she needs a wash more than every 8wks when she has her hair trimmed. She is absolutely stinking at the moment with all the rain over last couple of days. Gearing ourselves up for the next round.
Having said that she is fantastic and so intelligent. She keeps us amused with her antics.

EVERYBODY LIKE MUTTS N' MONGRELS ON FACEBOOK!
Might have known you were animal people, this surprises me not at all...
Oh dear, I realise you probably saw my post about my Lab's spa break with my mother in law... I have to confess she rarely gets a bath here! We love her, and the aroma!
I launched a home fragrance biz last year.... No connection... Honest....
Yes we are very much animal people in fact I worked in an animal sanctuary for just over six years and loved it. Did see your post about your Lab and know just what you mean as we also have a big daft Lab called Amos who hates manicures, we have to distract (bribe) him with prawns whilst I do it lol
If I live in UK I would take my pooches to say a hello to you at Mutts n' Mongrels. Loved the photos. And Angie has a special way to deal with big dogs.
