Notification of posts

Hello all,

I've stopped receiving notification of posts from Health Unlocked by email - does anyone know how to solve this please? Any help is much appreciated!

Hi Juliet , I find it's hit or miss at the moment sometimes I get notification and then nothing for a couple of weeks I've also noticed​ if I post it could be on the site today but not tomorrow and then reappear, I thought it might be my tablet as it needs updating. How are you keeping? I hope the fine weather is not to much for you. Kittie

Hi Kittie, hope scan went ok. I havent heard anything since last week so I hope all is okay. I did call to the onc unit as one of my nurses since 2007 is retiring and I brought in a card to say thank you. I did mention it them and they said if it was a cause for worry I would have heard.

Thanks Kittie- I haven't had any notifications since May 29.....

I think I told you I'm off Topotecan, it wasn't effective (as I suspected!) .I'm not in remission as my oncologist told me disease has progressed. I'm now on Olaparib since last Thursday. It's early days to comment on how effective it is, but I'm hoping it will improve my condition. My CA 125 was at an all time high of 1636 on Thursday. I'm very crampy at times and trying to manage my bowels with laxative and drinking plenty of fluids and upping roughage in my diet. It's a bit difficult as my appetite as diminished and I get full very quickly. I also have pressure and pain in abdomen, which I manage with Solpadol for pain - I think it's not as constipating as some other painkillers.

How are you Kittie? I know you're due scan results on 29th - I'll be thinking of you!

Hi Juliet , I am finished chemo and like you I have no faith in the Topotecan . I will find out Thursday if it worked or not when I'm in for my results. I have mentioned a trial to my Oncologist and she said we will see ??? I now just have to get my strength back as it was a very long and gruelling 7 months with ports etc . Take care and I will be interested to see how your new chemo goes. Kittie

Hi Juliet, I am the same for a few months. To come on site I have to go to My Ovacome health unlocked and log in. I know this happened before when my settings changed in my hotmail account. Usually one of the admins will sort it but to be honest I havent asked as yet

I've just discovered all my emails from HealthUnlocked are in Spam -trying to figure out now how to fix this!

you can move them into your inbox, I dont have any in Junk mail will check in spam folder. I know the configuration of the Hotmail changed some time ago so will have a look myself so, I just logged in again on the site myself

Hi Suzuki. I'm receiving them all now- they had been marked as spam so I just unmarked them as spam. If you find yours in spam open up the email and you'll see where it says spam at top- click on this and it will be unmarked

Hi Chrissapam

Did you try checking if the notifications had gone into spam? If they have,just click into the mail and un spam it. You should see where it is marked at the top of the body of mail.

Hi all just back from holidays, had port put in today. Starting gem/carbo on Friday. I was wondering did any any of you ladies had this treatment and how y did get on.? Hope all are doing well. Is there a coffee morning happening any time soon.?

I haven't had this combination so I can't be of much help to you I'm afraid. I haven't heard if there is a coffee morning - perhaps some of the other ladies might know?

I have had 1 gem/carbo after reaction to 2nd taxol/carbo. Missed 4thas bloods too low, platelets went down to 7 so needed transfusion. Just seemed to hit me like a bus.
