If any of you are interested in sharing your story at the next patient day can you please send me a message. We usually start our patient days with a patient story and are very grateful to patients for doing this.
Thanks
Sharon

Well I did it last year so it would be boring to have people listen again to me so come on ladies surely someone will help out here. Annie?
Hey Sharon,
What would this entail? My story is relatively new and am finishing Chemo on the 30th March so will be just out the other side of that! I was Stage 1, 2 surgeries and the usual 6 rounds of Carbo/taxol. Not sure if this is what you are looking for? ?

Hi Hogwarts DK, I told my story at the Galway Patients Day in Nov 2014 and Sharon was a great help to me. Like you I didn't think my story was what they were looking for , but I found telling it helped me in many ways. I never had any confidence and also had a stammer but by telling my story I overcame that. Go for it we are all different and no two stories are the same . Kittie
I did mine last year half hoarse from Avastin but I managed, What you said there is really what we want to listen to as a patient. Write down a few sentences and see how you go with it, you will be fine. No pressure like haha, Sharon will go through it with you and she is really lovely.
Everyone has a different story so we would be delighted if you were willing to share yours. I can give you a call next week sometime if that suits you to have a chat about it.
Sharon
Also i dont know if you have looked at the videos from previous patients days, we dont normally record the patient story but some patients are happy to do so and they are on the website.
