Hello. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with The Stronger Bones Solution, Program. Run by Kevin Ellis. (THE BONE COACH). Did you find any success with this program? Any thoughts?

hi,

I watched some of his videos. It seemed - to me - some gaps. There is so much info out there…it gets confusing! I like Dr Doug Lucas (videos are on YouTube). His master class is full of helpful info, too. It’s free. I have attended 3 and learn something everytime. If you use IG, osteoporosis trainer has helpful tips, too. I may sign up for her program.

I hope this helps a little.

(I am 56 with op of l-spine and osteopenia of femoral neck)

Hello! Yes, I recently completed Kevin Ellis' Stronger Bones Solution program. It's an intensive 12 week program that delves into osteoporosis root causes, various lab tests you can do to measure many factors, how to interpret test results, how to find and communicate with an appropriate health care professional(s), medication facts, nutrition and various diet regimens specific to one's issues, appropriate types of exercise, managing stress and improving sleep, etc. I chose the option to also attend live Zoom sessions with professionals who present a rotation of relevant topics, and that gave me ample opportunities to ask lots of questions in real time. The quality of the content and instruction was very high. There was a Zoom session nearly every day of the week, and an opportunity to watch session recordings on demand if I missed any. The team of professionals Kevin assembled was top notch and they were kind and respectful. He is very committed to helping people like us gain the knowledge we need to manage our issue. I won't get my next Dexa scan for another year, but I know a lot more about what I have to do to slow or hopefully stop my bone density loss. As an example, I thought my digestion was fine. I did a stool test and learned I have an overabundance of inflammatory gut bacteria. I've probably not been absorbing my food nutrients very well. I've had to adjust my diet to correct this situation. On a different note, I now know how to do a squat properly with posture and form that will protect my spine and strengthen my glutes and legs. That's because Kevin has Sherri Betz (Thera-Pilates physical therapist extraordinaire) showing program participants how, and also watching participants and providing feedback. I also now know certain foods inhibit calcium absorption. Yes, I could have spent a lot of time finding a good amount of osteoporosis info online, but I chose a more direct path to education for myself. I hope this helps.

I completely agree with you, I am currently on the Stronger Bones Solution program about half way through and you gain so much knowledge and insight and help from very nice professionals who want to help you! It was worth the investment for me. I did 3 injections of Prolia and I am not on anything now, just trying to do this program and strengthen my bones and hopefully keep from loosing more bone. I have a DEXA scan in August so I'll be curious to see my numbers, but I've also learned from this program (BoneCoach) that you cannot just go by DEXA scans, there are bone turnover markers (blood tests) that can tell you a more accurate picture. I'm 60 and don't want to be on medications if I can help it. The story may be different when I'm older, but I'm still able to exercise and take steps to help me with this journey.

Hi, I am half way through the program. I did not include live Zoom with professionals, but I feel really good about what I have learned so far. It’s given me knowledge and confidence.

Dear Cardinal Fan (and others), I am not familiar with the plan from Kevin Ellis, but will pass on two options I use, when I want to learn more about Osteoporosis. First, is a Canadian lady I stumbled on, who offers much info and guidance for those of us with Osteoporosis. Her name is Margaret Martin. You can write to her at her platform, which is info@melioguide.com Or, put her name in on YouTube and it should offer some links. The second suggestion is from a total YouTube option (so no charge). Just enter "You Tube Bob & Brad Osteoporosis" and it should start you on some of their videos they have made over the years. They are Physical Therapists and offer assorted things you should or shouldn't be doing. Good luck to you.

I'm not familiar with Margaret or Kevin, I will check them out. But I DO know YouTube's "Bob & Brad" and I love them! Definitely worth looking them up!
