I’m thinking about a private Fundoplication operation to repair my hiatus hernia,

Has anyone had this operation and what are the results going forward?

I had a fundoplication op 10 months ago. I had a very large hiatus hernia, 10cm which caused severe anemia.After the op I had pain in my left shoulder which was quite severe and latest a few months. Things Are still not a hundred percent, but getting there!

I still find I have to follow a low acid diet, but at 82 I don’t think I’m doing too badly. Have to say that I am pleased that I had the op, which was also done private ly.
