I have Gaviscon Advance now but when i asked about my esomeprazole tablets they said still take two them they protect your stomach ?

Anyone else use both.

yes I am taking 80mg esomprazole plus I was taking advanced gaviscon too only trouble it’s really expensive and I was going through it really quickly my doctor told me to continue to do both hope this helps 😊

I get mine free on perscription ? can't you get it free.

no unfortunately I have to pay my doctor wouldn’t put it on prescription for me

Hi there.. I have my gavisgon advance on prescription too.. Ask a different doctor and why you need it and hopefully you will have it on prescription...

I get mine free because i'm over 60 and have loads of health problems

I was taking PPIs and they weren’t working so started Gaviscon which gave me immediate relief but didn’t last. I stopped the gaviscon and tried adding something acidic (apple cider gummies, dried mango) when my heart burn starts, and it’s been working the best. I must have low acid.

I take pantoprazole and peptac on prescription, which is similar to Gaviscon, but less strong. I was having swallowing problems, and coughing and choking. I was advised that taking both would be likely to work better. I take just one pantoprazole and less peptac now,as it is much better.
