looking for advice.

I had my baby at 36 weeks and weighed 4lb 4oz.

my baby is now 1 month 1 day and weighs 5lb 7oz

My baby has put on 7oz in 2 weeks.

Is this good or should she be putting on more than this

Hi, my children are all older and not born at 36 weeks but I remember having really a lot of questions about growth and what weight is enough? For me in the early weeks I always went by my midwife/ health visitor and whether they were ok about the weight gain or not. They used to let me know if they wanted weight changes to be more or less and I asked a lot of questions lol. Overtime I got to understand my little ones growth but it took a little time. It might be worth having a conversation with your health visitor to help you understand the growth and what they expect. It’s always good to ring Justone number if you have got extra questions or feel worried. 😊

Thankyou for your reply. I have spoken to just one number and the conversion chart at the local library was wrong and she’s actually put on 12oz in 2 weeks so they’re happy

Aww that’s great news! So pleased you got to speak to someone as it really makes all the difference - especially in the first few months! 😊 xx
