Hi Chlo1997,

If you are worried give just one Norfolk a call or your GP they won't mind just to put your mind at rest however I wouldn't worry too much as babies patterns change all the time. But I do understand it can be worrying. It's worth making sure all the things he has done in the last 7 weeks haven't changed like. Is he feeding normally?, Are his nappies wet and soiled similar amounts as before?. Other than the sleep issue is he acting the same as before?. Does he have a temperature?

What do you do during the day with him, his brain maybe taking in all the new things and distracting him from sleeping or the weather as it's been hot and the overcast/muggy.

I'm not a professional but a mum of two and hope this has been of some help.

Let me know.

Hi, Nothing else seems to be any different other than the sleep during the day, he just lies there looking about the room when I put him down to nap🤦🏼‍♀️ I have heard that some babies can be like that but like you said it can be worrying, I’ll keep trying! thanks so much for the advice!

Well it's good that things are normal. It maybe one of those things he may go back to naps. Worth keeping the routine if he's happy. He's just taking it all in and doesn't want to miss anything.

They grow up so quick so enjoy the time. But also make sure you are resting too still if you can.

He’s had one today so far , when I tried to put him down again he’s laid there smiling at me. Seems to be getting a bit more nosey now lol. I know it seems to be flying in. Thank you so much for the advice! I really appreciate it. First time mum and learning each day!

Sounds likes he's being a little monkey.

Good luck and if you need anything just let me know I'll try to help where I can. I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and still learning 🙂
