Hi, I heard that Norfolk County Council have updated their policy to suggest that women pregnant after 28 weeks should be working from home. Has anyone read anything that confirms this. All I can find is guidance that this 'could' happen if reasonable adjustments can't be made for hygiene, space etc.

Working in a secondary school - 30 weeks pregnant
HelloI'm not sure. It was recommended during the first lockdown to work from home after 28 weeks. You could look at the Maternity Action and Royal College of Obstetrics websites. I would repost your question on the NCT forum as they have a lot more members who would be able to help. Good luck x
Hi congratulations on your pregnancy 😊, I don't know the answer for this either I had a few friends that did have too but that was also because of lockdown. worth asking your midwife if she doesn't know she may be about to find out for you.
Hi FoodieLaura
Congratulations on your pregnancy.
It must feel very uncertain for you about work right now. Have you been able to get in touch with the HR department as they should be able to advise you the most current information and if appropriate, how to go about applying to work from home etc.
Are you a member of a teaching union? They may be able to help too.
I hope you are able to find the correct guidance soon and are able to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.
Kind Regards,
Rachel - Duty Assistant Practitioner.
