Hi I'm wondering what other mums do, my daughter is nearly 2 and we have put some toys in her room for when we are upstairs (and coz she has too many to have downstairs) but is this a good idea as she's still having nap time sometimes but if she's not 💯 tired these distract her.

What do other mums or dads do?

My little one is 2 also and has some toys in his room.

We make sure they are all packed away before any nap or sleep happens. He is never up there very long normally just while I shower or am hoovering. He knows bedrooms are for sleeping. Also the room is bright and sunny while he plays whereas it's dark and ready for sleep when its bedtime
