I think that’s just breastfeeding hun, on demand. I ended up giving my girl a bottle in the night so my other half could feed her so I could get some more sleep. It’s hard but when you get past the barrier it does get easier they say. It doesn’t last forever. But you have to do what’s best for you. :-)

Hi 👋🏻 well done for keeping going this last 3 weeks and congratulations on your new baby. It’s so exhausting isn’t it this first few weeks - like going into a completely new world. I remember mine feeding constantly and thinking is this right🤷🏻‍♀️. It can be really normal for them to be on the breast for what seems to be everyday (all the time) the main thing I always went on when mine were tiny was their weight regain but the HV and midwives are the best people to guide you with how things are going for you. There is also some brilliant bf support on this forum. Big good luck with getting feeding established and just try and keep your strength up while you are so busy. I often had healthy (ish 😂) snacks and water on hand 😊

Yes I totally remember feeling like a dummie for my little girl. It was exhausting and I got so sore. The weight gain sounds amazing you are doing really well. I think these early days always can take some adjustment time, with sorting routine and milk coming in etc etc. Could you try and put her in her in her cot at any point once she is asleep to let you rest and her? X
