Hi there. Just recently my 4 month old has started bringing up a little bit of milk, which looks like little bits of cottage cheese lol. I'm just wondering does this happen at this age. I've not changed milk, he usually burps ok ish after feeds. But I also have noticed he burps like 30mins to an hour after which is when he brings up more. Any advice what to do, would be a great help. Thanks

My baby is 1 month and doing this on every single feed, any time we lie him flat.

My 7 week old does the same. It's reflux, and the milk has just curdled in their tummy which is why it looks like cottage cheese! I've been told it's very normal at this age and to do with the muscles not being very strong which stop the milk coming back up. Best thing to do is try and wind them after feeding and keep them upright after feeding, at least 20 minutes if you can. I was told its only a problem if they are doing it all the time, e.g. Every feed, as they won't be keeping very much milk down and can affect weight gain.
