Hi my daughter has always been clingy we me (mummy) but now its upsetting my partner ( the daddy) she won't go to him he feels rejected she literally screams and tries to push away from him if I leave the room. They spend Sunday alone together as I'm at work but shes constantly pointing at my picture and saying mum mum mum.

I am always pottering around trying to give them time. But she just wont stay with him

This is verying draining on my too for example last night we are on holiday and all she wants to do is walk up and down the dance floor but only with me when we try her with her dad she just walks back to me. (She cant walk unaided yet)

My partner is trying not to show her he is upset but it's hard.

She is only 1 years old I've googled it and we are doing all the right things but can anyone help with some more advise please.

It's so tough isn't it, but hopefully reassuring to know that this can be a normal and healthy stage of development.

Have there been any recent changes at home, for example, a recent return to work etc?

Thank you sorry didnt see the replies . I returned to work in March so it may be that but shes always been clingy to me even though I made sure I wasnt keeping her all the time and as soon as my partner came home from work he would always have her so I can go to have a bath or do something. I will get my partner to have a look at soilhil. Thank you again
