Eating on a Budget

Don’t go shopping when you are hungry.

Do use farm shops- a sack of potatoes is about £5 and lasts ages.

A chicken does 3 meals- roast, curry and then boil up the carcass for stock for soup.

Personally I buy better but less meat and up the veg and don’t have puddings. Game is cheap at this time of year and really good for you.

I buy frozen fish as cheaper and have a bag of frozen summer fruit on the go as it is fresher in winter and doesn’t go off.

No fizzy drinks- waste of money and screw up your gut bacteria etc
