I would like to no if there are any suport groups here in Scotland or even just south of the border or even anyone else close by, im just north of the border and feel a bit isolated!

Hi Margaret, I live just south of Carlisle and there is nothing in this area either. The north seems to be lacking in support. Always up for a chat if you feel lonely

Hi Edwina, thanks for getting intouch, Im in Annan so its nice to here from somebody not far away!

Two years ago i had part of my Oesophagus and stomach taken away, i find food a real problem, i have days when i have NO interest in it at all and find the weight hard to maintain, if not impossible, that and rerve damage in the scar area on my back and side causes a lot of pain. How has the op. efected you?

I am near Durham & the OPA does not have anything up here. There is an organisation callet the Oesophagoose based in Newcastle, they run awareness & support events locally. Have not been to any yet, but there is a coffee morning next month that I shall be going to.
