Abdominal cramping & nausea in the mornings

Hi looking for any advice, its for my husband he had OC Stage III back in 2013, had the Ivor Lewis procedure and has had lots of issues with food over the years, he is intolerant to lots of things, a bit how I would imagine IBS would be, anyway every morning without fail he wakes up with abdominal cramps and has also started to feel nauseous, just wondered if anyone else has or had the same thing of a morning and if they did anything that helped to stop these symptoms.

Thanks,

Justine

Justine,

Hope as a primary action he has contacted his GP to notify the symptoms you mentioned, if this is persisted.

How can he describe his stools passing and frequency? trying to figure if he is experincing constipation. Reading past post he had suffered same symptoms previously.

Hi - has he been tested for delayed gastric emptying ? It can be an issue after oesophagectomy - I’d be inclined to contact GP or even his specialist nurse - all the best
