Experience of using nimotuzumab injection for oropharyngeal cancer

My dad had the oropharyngeal cancer for 8 months and then he was diagnosed with stage 1 esophageal cancer as well.

Yesterday he got follow up health check and everything is fine now. But his doctor suggested that he could take Nimotuzumab injection in order to improve his immune system.

We can’t be sure if we should take it or not, as he is fine now after all. We are worried that taking the injection might give him side effects.

Could anyone, who took this injection, share your experience and suggestion please? Thank you so much!
