Hello

pls need advice

last wednesday was eating little chicken and it seems little part of the soft bone is stuck in my throat because this is when this feeling started.

I initailly thought it would pass as it could get soft and go down, and for some reason started feeling it was something sinister. But now im thinking it has to be the soft bone but if it is , shouldnt it have passed by now as its about 5 days?

Im ok , no breathing difficulties, eating well, no pain . i just feel it anytime i keep swallowing , I clear my throat and it doesnt seem to be any blockage but when im swallowing saliva , i feel tit moving right side of throat

i know i shld go to ER but i have two kids with me , and Im the only one with them atm and dont want to take them if its something i can do at home to dissolve it maybe?

is it possible it coudl still digest or go down or could it be GERD coincindentally?

Thank you

I would schedule an appt with an ENT. They have small devices they can use to go down your throat and look and you could bring the kids to the appt. it sounds a bit like GERD if it’s tightness also. Try taking a tums or Pepsid meanwhile and avoid caffeine, soda, or acidic foods. Eat an alkaline diet and drink water in meantime, also sleep with head propped. Look into getting scoped or on a long-term PPI to help if it’s reflux. It can cause similar symptoms.
