Esomeprazole

Hi. Four days ago I was changed from Omeprazole 20mg twice a day to Esomeprazole 40mg twice a day. I am really struggling with extreme lethargy and feel really spaced out. Has anyone else experienced this and found that it got better over time? These ones seem to be helping a lot better with my constant coughing fits and phlegm so will perservere if these side-effects are just temporary. Please advise.

I was told to take omeprazole at night and nil by mouth at least 3 hours before bed. The bed head has to be raised using a couple of bricks. All this has helped reduce the cough so far.
