Hi all my mum has a month of feeling fine then has a week of being sick ... She went for a endoscopy today and there is a build up of food in her stomach they think this is what the problem may be so she has been giving tablets ... Has anybody had the same problem after the Ivor Lewis ???

Yes, sometimes a restriction of the at the bottom of the stomach.
Treatment can be simply be dilation by endoscopy so speak to the consultant.
I had IL two months ago and after a short spell of reasonable appetite and eating had constipation bad enough to be hospitalised. The answer was all about food choice, portion control, grazing a little at a time, taking plenty of fluids and perhaps a small dose of laxative such as Lactilose prescribed by your GP. Bottom line it’s a learning process with lots of trial and error. Good luck. Tanktank
