I'm due to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy tomorrow afternoon, so have had the joy of my first 'movo' wotsit treatment this evening.
Talk about an effort, I really struggled to get that foul preparation down. Peg on nose, additional squash, and chilled didn't prevent that heeving. Disgusting stuff.
Anyway, it all seems to have been a bit of an under-event (sorry couldn't resist), one normal movement followed by a couple of pints of clear fluid.
Is that it? I'm waiting to take my meds, but don't want to take them for them to head out as quickly.
Now on to tomorrow.....I've been promised pain relief, spray, sedation AND Entonox (I asked for that one). They are quite nervous of me as I'm officially a bit bonkers, and the agreement is we will try it this way but if its too much I will have a General the following day. I'm hoping to cope, it's the being touched in very much private areas that is my biggest problem
Anyway, I'm not worried about the endoscopy, I've had cameras shoved up my nose and down my throat and it wasn't too bad. But how do people cope with the bottom end being manhandled?
And the wind.....normally on 'metfartin' (metformin), I'm Gale force at the best of times, but I don't usually go out (one of my mad bits), so not looking forward to potentially letting rip in front of people......
Basically, what's REALLY going to happen tomorrow?
