Hi I'm a new female to this and just diagnosed . I'm a hoarder too . I'm not the person you asked to contact you so hope you don't mind. Constantly feel like I've offended everyone. No dangerous or strange thoughts. How do you cope. Thx Chrissy.
I have that problem too. But make sure that any help he does get isn't coercive, lets him go at his own pace and works with him rather than against him. Decluttering for a hoarder can be very traumatic - if he can acknowledge he needs help that is a start. But anyone helping him mustn't do it aggressively.
