Hi I just wanted to introduce myself, I have been a member for 2 years but always just read all your posts and all the great advice here.

I have osteoarthritis In numerous places, I had my second knee replacement last January.

I have needed a knee replacement for a few years, but only now can I get it done. However, I also have osteoporosis, and am wondering how problematic that will be to a successful outcome of the surgery. Does anyone have experience with this kind of situation?

Hi paxom I’m really sorry I’m not sure how your osteoporosis will affect the outcome of a knee replacement, you should speak to your doctor about your concerns and hopefully you will get some answers. I hope things work out well for you as I know only to well the need for TKR.
