Anxiety about the pain

I had an appointment with my Orthopaedic surgeon. I was scheduled for knee injections. But transit did not come through. So, I had to reschedule it in September. Those shots make me mobile. I am afraid of being in tons of pain. That pain is horrible. Anything that helps with the pain?

I’ve used diclofenac or Volteran gel. You can buy it over the counter now. It has really helped my shoulder. It’s an anti-inflammatory ointment you rub on the hurting area. But make sure you don’t over use it & if you take any anti-inflammatory oral meds this also absorbs into you system so watch that you don’t exceed the dosage limit.

That cream did not work. But I got a prescription for a higher dose of lidocaine cream. AMAZING!

I am never without An electric heat pad wrap it around my knee and take painkillers and try and relax
