hello, thank you for all your support. I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and they checked me for rhematoid factor and ANA both were positive but other tests were negative so i see a rheumatologist in August. Has anyone been diagnosed with both, im just so depressed and in pain constantly and now have little itchy blisters on my fingers ive had these in 2010 but they went away and i now have what look like little nodules on my knuckles closest to fingertips. Thank you all for your support im just so overwhelmed right now plus i have had serious low back pain in sacroiliac region that wont go away if i bend forward cant get back up. any input would be greatly appreciated and thank you all so sorry for long post

Hi, I have osteoarthritis in most bones now, my hands hurt all the time was seen at rheumatology and although my ra bloods were high my ana was negative but I was told it was my osteoarthritis I do have chronic inflammation but an mri will show if you have rheumo in your hands they also look at all your bloods crp, esr, and other things I must admit I really feel quite ill with it all but find the medications make me worse Good luck I’m sure they will get to the bottom of it x

I’m sorry your in pain all the time as well. My Ana was high and speckled with positive RA factor my no test indicated inflammation so I not sure my last mri showed osteoarthritis throughout my body however never reported anything on my hands or feet which are painful. Best I’d luck to you

Hi, it’s terrible isn’t it that we can’t get diagnosed and things put right I know things are rubbish with the nhs and the pressures they face but it’s not acceptable I was told it’s arthritis like it’s acceptable and stiff upper lip wear and tear well it isn’t acceptable it gets me down too so I really understand your pain and frustration all I can say is I’m thinking of you and don’t accept anything but the care you deserve xx
