Osteoarthritis in the knee

For anyone who has osteoarthritis in their knee can you tell me what is the best way to keep it controlled. I might also add that I had arthoscopic surgery on my right knee June 1st and it is continuing to swell and hurt like hell. I actually think I might have reinjured it after 5 weeks so there will be another MRI on the 19th of this month.

Hi. Just started following this group. I'm sorry to hear about your knee. I too have torn meniscus in both knees due to OA and waiting to see orthopaedics in august. I believe the op you had is the one I might be getting. Hope you don't mind if I follow this post and see what your outcome is if any. I hope you heal soon. Sending my support. Gill

I don't have a problem with you following this but I'll tell you right now that this is 6 weeks since surgery and my knee is three times the size it should be and hurts like hell and today it is exactly 6 weeks since surgery
