Awaken your inner physician

Awakening your inner physician is a huge part of my message. What does this mean? It means you tune inwards into your inner world, to explore what feels best for you in terms of keeping you well. This is actually a daily commitment.

It is particularly important I believe when one is navigating lifelong illness. In such cases it is key not to become your diagnosis or what other people project onto you. You are an individual and your experiences are unique.

Hear more on this lovely U.S podcast, The Authors Show, on what inspired me to awaken my inner physician and how that can help you.

My son who has autism and is nonverbal use to do yoga at school, now at college, he does dance. Calm and gentle was what he became from challenging behaviour!

Thank you for sharing! I love this story. Yoga changes so much on so many levels. I also love dance as it places us in the experience of our bodies, as yoga does. How wonderful your son has these tools to nourish him.
