Hi All. When I was in Peru on my 500 hour yoga turning, we had daily Ayurveda lessons as well. A super way of keeping your mouth and gums healthy is through this simple recipe using kitchen cupboard spices. Make up a batch, store in an airtight container in your bathroom so you make it easily available to you. Equal parts: black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove powders. Choose organic if possible. Mix together and take a pinch and give your lovely gums a good rub for about one minute.
Rinse throughly and then brush teeth as usual. I recommend avoiding toothpaste containing fluoride. There are many out there on the market such as Aloe Dent or Jason.
