Stress when left to run riot can have a huge toll on our body, mind and spirit. The simplicity of connecting with your breath is a major pillar of the yoga practise and to bring you back to the here and now of your body. I have regular feedback from my yoga clients that they are sleeping better just by connecting more with the breath. It's incredible. Here's my latest video detailing the lovely hummingbird breath. The direct translation of brahmari is humming bee but as a fan of the joyful hummingbird, I call it that.
