Snap 30 for me, and yrs of depression due to pain. People not understanding hidden disabilities and the "well you look aright" attitude and the "oh I've got arthritis" Sometimes it reduces me to tears.

how true some times the depression is as bad as the pain

Or worse,as i see it at the moment i'm losing everything. I get told off by my caring family for doing things round the house eg; hanging curtains, moving a very small fridge. I just need to feel useful. I feel my whole identity is going.

I paced yesterday like i was told to and today i'm still suffering. Both knees and hands. I wonder whether it will ever end. The thought that i've got this for the rest of my life is a daunting prospect. I believe that we can cope with what we are given for a reason, but at the moment i can't see it.

People want to walk in our shoes for a few days, then they would soon change their minds.

Lets start something here, find something to be cheerful about once a day and post it on here.

I'll start shall i, xmas is 2 weeks away today. Next up one of you lovely people.

Sylvi. xx

Great idea Sylvi. I'm on my own so I've just rescued 2 Cocker Spaniels from a rescue centre. They're so loving and it's given me a reason to get up, dress and exercise in the mornings. xx

Snows gone for the moment so I'm nipping out to coop to get some ginger chocolate biscuits. Sun is shining blue sky!

Our enormous Xmas tree is looking dead bonnie in the hallway now. Everyone loves it including, perhaps most of all me! TTx

Oh Tilda, Did you finally resove that tree episode? What a fun story! That's an accomplishment! Did your guys help decorate it?

Yes Loret!! The tree looks lovely and I did most of the decorating myself after the boys put the lights on for me. Its in quite a tight space so only room for one of us but they love it and took photos last night to put on their facebook pages! It is huge - they now see it would have looked nuts in our living room - where a small fake is looking fine surrounded by presents.

So all is well that ends well on the big tree debacle - thanks for your interest I'll blog one day soon with tree pic to go with it so you can see what I mean! Must dash as boys to make breakfast for but just to say well done for having raised such successful and helpful kids and delighted that you too know about the usefulness of the Wii!
