Hiya, yes I do. I started on hydroxy last August. They started working after just a few weeks. I don't flare as often or as bad. I still get very stiff & painful joints in the mornings & if I've been stilling for a long time. The dr has given me a script for other meds which I will pick up today. They are pain killers. I have no side affects the only worring thing is,my fingers & toes are beginning to change shape & I thought these drugs were meant to stop that happening. You must get your eyes checked before you start taking hydroxy & again every 6m months to a year. Mine have been fine. Hope they work for you. Take care x

Hi Caza, Thanks for answering this. I think it is helping me a lot, in a very short time. I worry it's wishful thinking but my blood work looks much better. My Ra Dr wanted me on MTX. but i didn't start because he didn't seem to pay attention.. and i was feeling better. So ill see him Monday and hope he gives me some good news. and yes i need another eye check, i think it's the only thing that i might have an issue with..but worth it....Glad it's helping you feel well..Joni

Hi,my eyes are fine, don't worry to much. I find the sound of MTX a bit scary although I know it helps a lot of people on here. I forgot to say its stopped the night sweats & I was getting muscle spasm in my feet daily which made it very difficult to drive & that has stopped completely. So can only say it gets the thumbs up from me :) x

I was on hydrochloroquine for some years with good control.

But then had a bad flare up and was switched to MTX, as "being more effective".

Unfortunately, when I suggested going back onto it as the MTX was giving me awful side effects, I had a bad vasculitis reaction...But for years I had fairly good control with no side effects. Pity I can't turn the clock back.

Yes, I have been on it for over 6 years and it continues to control my RA. Like others have stated, eye checks are important. Good luck, hope it helps you too..
