Has anyone changed their hospital due to terrible service.

I've changed consultant within the same trust. I got my GP to refer me to the new one for a second opinion.

I had a knee replacement about three years ago and i had to have it redone and i went to another hospital. If or when i need the other knee done i won't be going to the first hospital.xx

It can be done, but if you want to cover your bases, you could just ask your GP to refer you to a different hospital for a second opinion first - that way you can sound out what the other service is like before you give up at your current one.

Good question and something i might well consider as im having no luck with my consultant or rheumy team.

I changed hospitals to follow my Consultant, pleased I did, not many Orthopaedic Surgeons specialize in revision surgery and now at the top hospital in North West.
