Change hospital

I feel desperate at the moment for reasons I rather not put on here whst do I do to change contacts/hospital Sorry if this is written poorly my sight has diminished a great deal in last 2 weeks thank you so much

You can ask to be referred to a different hospital.

you could either go through PALs to ask to change to another consultant. Otherwise your GP can refer you to a different hospital or Trust for a 2nd opinion, with a view to the taking over your care. I hope there is someone who is able to support you, if you’re going through a difficult time.

I approached my GP as I needed a hospital nearer to where I live. My GP referred me without question. Wishing you all the best Pasjc.

I am now looking for a new GP, the one I have been seeing seems to guess at problems and is IMPOSSIBLE to contact without an appointment or adjust a prescription.

So sorry for you. I think the NHS is the most wonderful thing we have in Britain once you're in the system but I feel there are too many gatekeepers who's main job is to keep us away from doctors. I hope you get sorted and me too xx

My GP did it, in fact she was the one who suggested it and gave me the choice of 2 hospitals which were the nearest. Try and find out about other hospitals, I asked the nurse who did my blood tests if she had any feedback on the other hospitals . Good luck
