Amazed by anyone who can keep nail varnish from chipping - I have always smudged or chipped or spoiled mine whenever I've applied it - I'm just too fidgety and forgetful! They look very Christmasy and perfect Sylvi! Tilda xx

What beautiful hands you have, no one would think you are effected by RA with those, they look so good. Lovely colours, and the hair colour looks good as well. Thank you my darling,They are false though as my nails are now not so good. Thank you for saying so,i was at the hospital for sleep apnea and they weighed me and yes it seems i have lost nearly a stone i don't know where its gone,except to say my tummy feels a bit looser.

You look very festive. I too have notice that most of my nails now twist really badly, so I can't keep them long anymore, I did consider have false ones, but I have not plucked up the courage as yet. Besides I have not found the the time.

Joanne i use to have lovely long nails,but now they are not so good hence i have them done. I try to look good even if i am not. The camera is a good liar as in real life my hands don't look or feel that good. You must find the time Joanne as it will do wonders for the old morale. Even if i am a lot overweight people will still chat to me about my hair and nails.

We are lucky in the floods as we are on a little slope,not sure what the garden will be like as i haven't been out there. I think it is a little of everything mads as i don't feel that clever. It is a combination of the weather pain and just having things disturbing from my sleep. Love sylvi.xx

They look brilliant sylvi! Hope your hands soon start to feel as good as they look. Like you, I try to look good (apart from really bad days). I feel its a slap in face for the arthritis. It might make me feel like cr** but I'll be damned if it'll make me look like it.

Like you i try to look good. Make-up now is only for special occasions as my eyes are that bad,but i have my big glasses to hide that. Looking good and feelig good are two different things for us isn't it.

I accept this is my life and try to do the best i can and i try not to worry so much if i have to come downstairs at silly o'clock,i can always sleep when i'm dead can't i.

Dear sweet Sylvie! You are glamorous, look ready to party the night away. Might as well, can't sleep, right? I have feared the nail fix, my own nails seem strong, but still break easily. Wondered if they come in shorter version, as I don't think I could use the keyboard if they were too long. Plus, I fear I would break them, just in the course of the day, as I frequently ram my finger into something I am reaching for, like railings and doorways, etc. But you are lovely, so enjoy, have a wonderful, delightful Christmas with your family, and go party harty on New Year's Eve., even if only in your own home! Lovely Loretta,It is so nice to hear from you. I will take something tonight to make me sleep. I will rest one way or another. My nails are not that long and as they are false they are quite strong. I don't know about arty hartys it will be a slow waltz methinks.
