Hello Nina
It's Paula here, last saw you at the meetup at Coventry.
Sorry to read that you've now got this. There is a recent post on the Arthritis Care Forum at the moment and this is mentioned.
arthritiscare.org.uk/forums...
Hope that things get sorted for you soon.
Love Paula

Hi Nina
If you haven't already, it may be worth reading our article on rheumatoid vasculitis for more information: nras.org.uk/about_rheumatoi...
There is also quite a lot of good information on the Arthritis Research UK website: arthritisresearchuk.org/art...
There is a charity we are aware of that specialise in vasculitis, so it may also be worth contacting them: vasculitis.org.uk/
I hope some others will be along to let you know about their experiences of this soon.
Kind regards
Sarah Kate

Hi Nina
I'm in the USA. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH VASCULITIS WHEN I HAD 4 small strikes ( TIA) from having rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. Vasculitis is a simple term. It means UR vessels are inflamed inflammation causes irritation which can cause tiny clots to form and break off. It is very common in rheumatoid arthritis. Treatment is a BLOODTHINNERS and a baby aspirin ( here in the states) ask UR rheumatologist about it next visit. I was referred to a neurologist to manage those symptoms. But I'm an RN , have worked 30 years no stopping me. Also the clots are so tiny from the vasculitis I was disoriented and taken to the ER BY MY FAMILY where the small stroke was noted on the CT. BEST OF LUCK
