Many RA doctors are ridiculous as many would know on here. Need to find a good Doc in my area. This is the best rout to go with RA. Finding a good doctor. Thanks!

Edie - I didn't want to leave your question unanswered but I wasn't sure you'd get any replies and didn't want you to think you were being ignored so I just wanted to let you know that NRAS is a UK organisation.

Hi Edie, welcome to the site but as RheumatoidyMummy says, this is a UK site although we do have people living abroad who access it.

I would imagine the web sites in the States would be able to help you find a good RA consultant, or your local Doctor should be able to assist.

Have you tried enquiring at your main hospital? If they don't have an RA department they will know who does in your area. It may be trial and error to find someone you are comfortable with and have confidence in.
