Morning, Ictiber is a wicked month.

Love that cartoon & wish it didn't ring true. I often have almost lucid discussions with my husband first thing in the morning & this morning's topic happened to be 'What Do Rheumatologists Actually Do?' We were wondering if they ever sit down and apply themselves to a patient's case in an effort to join the dots. Or do they, as seems more likely, speed read your notes as you enter the room and then think on their feet as you update the information?

If the latter applies then I will never, ever get a firm diagnosis.

Hi Greenflower.

Thanks for this, it certainly raised a wry chuckle. It's such a shame so many of us feel the truth of this - I assume the rheumy team must feel equally frustrated by the lack of staff and funding they have to work with.
