Back pain

I keep getting bad back pain in my lower back it hurts to bend over and bend down, my legs feel like it’s growing pains in one of my legs, and i keep experiencing bad stabbing pains in my legs randomly in different areas. I get the growing like pain nearly every day, but especially if i’m stood up or walking around, it goes away if i lay down but frequently gets worse in the evening after work. Does anyone know what this may be? Thanks

Could it be sciatica or a herniated disc?

I did think that, it comes and goes but it’s making me so miserable as i work in a pharmacy i’m on my feet all day and im in so much pain

Might be worth speaking to your doctor or trying some physio. Probably faster to pay for a session with a private physio if you can afford it - NHS physio waiting lists are very long. Hope you can get it sorted out soon.

we can’t diagnose but I would definitely see your GP and get this investigated.

I agree with KittyJ. Go see your GP and if you’re not satisfied that they can help then have a word with your rheumatologist as they’re experts in musculoskeletal and will be able to do the relevant tests. It does sound like your disease isn’t controlled well enough so a med review might be in order. I’ve found whenever my back plays up that for me it’s as a result of my hips being inflamed.

I am suffering with my lower back at the moment and i have put Fenbid gel on it last night and this morning i have put my heat pad on it in an effort to ease the pain. Hugs darling and i hope you get some answers. I suggest you see a dr though. xxxx
