So, I am in Spain and although I asked for a referral to a RA specialist in March (when I changed areas), I haven't yet been contacted about an appointment. Tried privately too and nothing before July. Due to travel to France tomorrow for 4 months. I will be in the Limoges area. Anyone have any experience of how to go about securing an appointment? Guessing it'll have to be private. Any recommendations?
I am Irish with residency in Spain and have a EHIC.

I live in South West France and have RA. I’m a UK citizen with a long stay visa. My permanent residence is France.
So, I have a carte vitale which allows me to access the healthcare. All of my RA treatment is free because it is a life enduring illness.
Access to rheumatologists is difficult, they are so busy. So I’m glad I’ve found a good one.
There is a website called Doctolib where you can make your appointments (if the Dr has registered on the site - not all do) so you could see what is available near Limoges.
