Paxlovid update

Hello everyone Thank you for your responce to my last post.

After speaking to the Dr on Saturday I was prescribed anti sickness meds... and decided to give the antivirals another go. First dose yesterday lunch time after eating, and taking anti sickness meds and anti acid tablet. It seemed to go OK other than tiredness and just feeling a bit grotty.

Second dose mid evening, with same approach before hand. Not long after feeling very sick and went to sleep eventually.

Today I spoke to the Dr again.

Six days since my symptoms started and the sneezing, runny nose, temperature were gone on Saturday.

As a result she has advised not taking more Paxlovid because of the side effects from them.

Either I would have improved from Covid naturally may be because my symptoms were mild, or taking the amount of Paxlovid I have has had enough effect to halt its course.

At this point I am feeling better and I hope that continues.
