I’m taking methotrexate every wednesday and have been for the last year, for the last month or so following taking it i have significant pain with a shoulder or elbow which lasts up to 3 days then it’s gone!!! is anyone else getting random pain where they never normally have pain? any words of advice or tips for this to stop would be fab 🤞👍

This sounds strange, I do not get any pains like that. What other meds are you taking?

Ah I get random pains in places I never knew could hurt 🙄 Think its part and parcel of RA, not sure how your pain coincides with taking your mtx, speak to your rheumy team I'm sure they can come up with something to help you. Good luck 👍

that reassuring, mine is mainly shoulders but the pain is so intense! was on sulfasalazine and a bio but they recently stopped me using both and now just on mtx and filgotinib. see how this goes. Apparently filgotinib takes up to 6 weeks to start working so rolling with it 🤞🤞
