Hi folks - is there anyone on here that is lactose intolerant? If so do you sometimes have problems accessing a specific medication? Many thanks. 🙂

I have lactose intolerance, but can tolerate the small doses in meds, with the exception of Naproxen. I also have lactase tablets I can take if I have to take something containing lactose.

May I ask what brand of tablets do you take? There are so many of them and I need to take them for hydroxychlorequine and another med the GP wants to give me for neuropathy. Am hoping you're in the UK. Many thanks

I purchase mine from Holland and Barrett, I usually buy them when they’re on offer, with buy one get one one for a penny. There is 120 tablets so they last me a while. I also find if I take a med containing lactose with some food, I can tolerate it better.

yes it can be a real pain as it doesn’t take much lactose to upset my stomach.
