just had my review & have lost my mobility car after having one for the last 15 years. First with DLA and then PIP. Absolutely devastated. Not going to be able to get anywhere. 😭

That is so disgusting!!!

What are these people playing at and who the hell do they think they are? They sit in their comfortable offices, collect their unearned salaries even though , in my opinion ,they don’t deserve much.

These people do not know what it means to be be in pain and to have to rely on other people and help to be able to live a near normal life.

They really make me sick and, although I do not believe in Karma, one day they may get their come uppance and know what suffering is all about. We can only hope.

sorry to hear this the same thing happened to me 5 yrs ago . I decided to buy the car from motobility and am still driving it. I was short by 2 points so was able to keep my blue badge. I think the walking distance being shortened is terrible seems fatigue is being ignored. Good luck if you appeal x

Please fight it ..I got mine rejected as they said I self propelled into a review for ESA I use an electric wheelchair had to go to court was in there less than a minute the judge was furious. unless you have got better since last time please appeal x

me too 6 yrs ago gave me 10 points had mobility car for 12 years and have multiple degenerative muscular skeletal conditions and very deformed feet, was suffering with depression at the time and couldn’t face appealing. It was to stressful at the time but now I wish I’d appealed. My consultant and physiotherapist were furious. The report was a pack of lies, my husband couldn’t believe a health professional would do that, I even got called ‘he’ and I’m most definitely female. The woman didn’t watch me walking at all because she was in front of us the whole way, wouldn’t let me use my scooter to get to the room, it took a total of over two hours for the assessment and she obviously hadn’t read my information prior to my visit.I was exhausted and totally humiliated by her. None of them ever lose their professional numbers for recording absolutely inaccurate records or misleading statements. I truly believe in karma so I’ll wait my day. Please don’t do what I . Appeal and get your car back!

Do appeal this, How can someone with mobility issues who was using a mobility car suddenly be able to manage without after 15 years. ?????? BUt I have heard of this happening. Mobility money is becoming harder and harder to get because of the way assessors intepretate the rulings it is not just how far you can walk, its about walking normally, whether you can manage obstacles, like steps. Effect of walking on your other health i.e breathing, if you can see properly to walk& cross roads, if you have an emotional illness, if you can lift or carry. pain caused by doing any of these tasks, side effects of drugs taken and total effects of any of your illnesses including emotional effects of losing your independence due to ill health.
