Why volunteer for NRAS? Volunteers are at the heart of all NRAS activity whether that is providing telephone support, contributing patient perspectives or helping us raise awareness for those living with RA and JIA. Volunteering allows you to tap into your potential, discover new passions, and create a ripple effect of positive change.Β To find out more about volunteering opportunities at

I began volunteering five or six years ago, which has enriched my life. Helping others is not just a good thing to do but rewarding in a way that is satisfying and very good for the soul, your well-being or whatever you wish to call it.

I now have new friends, new things to do and more knowledge of my RA at a pace I am happy with.

But the best thing of all is to have a new support group personally that understands.

Please find what you can do and do it; it is a win-win!
